OUR STORY
After years of growing hot peppers in our own garden we took to the kitchen and began experimenting. After sharing our creations with family and friends, our little passion project quickly became a full blown side hustle. Not long after, Blowing Smoke Hot Sauce was born.
Since the fall of 2022, we’ve been supplying hot sauce lovers with our unique lineup of small batch artisan hot sauces. Each recipe is inspired by our founder Jacob’s personal love for cooking, formulated and perfected in-house with a flavour-first approach.
We’re always looking to spice things up (it’s kind of what we do). When we’re not out slinging sauce, you can probably find us in the kitchen playing around with new recipes. We take our cues from our ingredients, and love to experiment with seasonal Ontario produce and unique hot pepper varieties to bring you fresh and unexpected new flavour offerings.

When it comes to our ingredients, our philosophy is simple: only the good stuff and local wherever possible. Every batch of our hot sauce is made with the freshest most flavourful natural ingredients, including 100% Ontario-grown hot peppers.
All of our sauces are gluten free, vegan, and free from artificial flavours, preservatives and thickeners.
